DETAILS ITINERARY OF SANDAKPHU SINGALILA TO SIKKIM ROUND TREK:
Day 01: pickup from (N J P) New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra Airport to Darjeeling (2,250.mtrs) 75km appx.

Day 02: Darjeeling to Tumbling (2,914. 26 km. 1 ½ hours appx.
This day after breakfast drive to Maneybhanjyang 26. km. Appx. 1 ½ hours’ drive from Darjeeling and those people are trek start from Dhotre an hour’s drive from Maneybhanjyang to Dhotre at an elevation of 2,135. Meters. Every trek point there you will have to show your trekking permit, and document like for Indian peoples any of your Indian identifications and for foreigner passport. After finishing your documentations trek towards to Tumbling via Tonglu which is the 2,790 Meters. the trail is gradually uphill all the way passes through dense green forests Rhododendrons, Magnolias and Bamboos it can take 3 to 4 hours walk after arriving from Tonglu Cap you will start to shutting impressing views of snow-cap mountains after Tonglu maximum 40 minutes’ walk to reach your camp Tumbling it is located from Nepal. chick in Camp/hotel. In evening free time there you will get unforgettable views of Sunset overlooking from Sikkim Himalayas.
Day 3: Tumbling to Kalapokhari 3,180 meters. 4/5 hrs.
This day wake –up early in morning for the sunrise take nice photography then back to your camp have a breakfast then trek to Kalapokhari the route through from dense green forest which is home for the rare wild animals like Red Panda, Tragopan, as well as the trail from Tumbling to Kalapokhari slightly up and down hills to Gairibans Himalayan heritage village also associated with base for security forces of Indian army there you will have to entry of your trekking permit and your document any kind of your identification with small tea break. Then trek continues to ascend towards to kalapokhari located from Nepal overnight at Kakaphokri.
Day 4: Kalipokhri to Sandakphu 3,630. Meters. 4 to 5 km. 3 ½ to 4 hrs.
This day you will have late breakfast is around 8: am because only walk for 3 ½ hours and 4 -5 Km. appx and all the way gradual ascent finally an undulating path on the motor road. the main attraction at Sandhakpu one of the famous views point in West Bengal of this spot you get 180-degree panoramic views of Nepal and Sikkim Himalayans as well Bhutan and one of the world’s most coveted panoramas, majesties views of Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Baruntse, Mt. Chamling, Mt. Chomolonzo, Mt. Machapucchare and other many peaks like Mt. Annapurna range spread out towards the west. Mt. Three sister peaks stand tall towards the north and the Sleeping Buddha lies before you. Towards the east, the side you see the highest ranges of Bhutan, the Mt.Chomolhari the highest peak, rises above all the others and sometimes the mobile network is available at the highest point in Sandakphu. Day 5: Sandakphu to Phalut 3,570. Meters. 14 km. 5 to 6 hrs.
This day after heavy breakfast trek to Phalut the trail begin gradually easy up and down hills the trail combination of level walks also rocky path as well roads with few places have a muddy section and slight forest also get tricky if it rains. This day starts early as there is a lot of distance to be covered. The trail passes through high altitude vegetation you will walk on ridges and through meadows, this route, in April, May & Jun, the rhododendron in full bloom, and some places you will have to accompany with yaks and around Sabargram you will take break for lunch then gradual ascents towards to Phalut camp overnight at Phalut.
Day 6: Phalut to kalijhar 3,444. meters via Kalijhar Tori-Phulay (3,333mtrs) 5 to 6 hours).
Weak up early in morning for Phalut viewpoint it can take to go and return 2 hours from Phalut take unforgettable photography enjoy with views then back to your camp take breakfast then trek towards to Phoktey Dara in Sikkim the trail gradually up and down hills along the edge top of the hill from Indo-Nepal border and both side cover with dense green forest as well as one can seen incredible views of Nepal and Sikkim Himalayan heritage local village. Overnight at Kalijhar.
Notice: There is no water source on the trek trail this day trekkers must fill up water at Phalut and ration the water wisely.
Day 7: Kalijhar to Uttarey (1900m) then drive to Pelling.
Today’s in the morning walk to Phoktey Dara morning provides one of the most breath-taking panoramic views of the Sikkim, Nepal and Bhutan ranges.
Phoktey Dara (3,588m) is at a border from between Sikkim, Nepal You will have a full view of towering peaks including Mt. Everest, Makalu, Nuptse, and Lhotse, Three sisters, Kumbakarna, Kanchenjunga and several other peaks in the region. This is one of the best grand-stand views one will get of the majestic Himalayas from anywhere in the mountains. after photography back to your camp side have breakfast then trek to Uttarey Village via Indo-Nepal Chewabhanjang check post where trek permits are needed to be shown followed by a steep descend to Chettrey SSB Camp where again permits are shown before making the final descent to Uttarey. It takes about 4 to5 hours from Kalijhar to Uttarey covering a distance of about 17kms in total. Water availability is good along the entire trail and walk is mostly under dense forest cover after the Chewabhanjang check post. After having lunch at Uttarey drive to Pelling via Singshore Bridge is a 2nd highest bridge in Asia. Overnight at Hotel in Pelling.
Day 8: Leave from Pelling to N J P/ Bagdogra Airport as planned.
After having breakfast, we depart to NJP or Bagdogra Airport depending upon the trekker’s mode of transportation to their respective homes. It is advisable to start early since it is a long drive. We suggest packing the luggage in advance before starting your journey. The distance from NJP/ Bagdogra airport is 155 kilometres which ideally should not take more than 7 to 8 hours. Lunch can be enjoyed at Jorethang or Malli Checkpost. After having lunch, continue your drive to your destination at the N J P/Bagdogra Airport.
